Disposal Fee for Appliances
There will be a $5 fee per item for appliances: refrigerators, stoves, washers, and dryers.
Supporting sustainability and education.
The Southeast Kansas Recycling Center is a not-for-profit organization with the mission to give area recyclers a place to bring materials, as well as educate the community on recycling.
Hours of Operation
Tunnel Drop-off
Joplin & Washington Ave.
Friday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Saturday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
$10 fee per car
Re-Use Shop
419 S Joplin St.
The Re-Use Shop is currently closed until further notice.
Large Item Drop Off
Gate 4, Joplin and Ramsay
Every 2nd Saturday of the Month
9AM - 3PM
FREE OF CHARGE
Items Accepted:
Mattresses, Box Springs, Furniture, Chairs, Couches, and Appliances.
Items NOT Accepted:
Trash, Yard Waste, Wood, Toilet Scrap, or Carpet.
